Born on the Caribbean isel of Trinidad, Yvonne L. Willams, M.Ed., spent her childhood with Christian grandparents and her oldest sister, Leah. Her formative years were greatly influenced by her Christian upbringing as she was taught the power of faith in God and the power of mind over all matter.

Later in life, this journey that started so innocently, took a route that left Yvonne battling for her life, severely testing her faith. After victory over her disease, Yvonne began ministering to the sick, always sharing her own story and bringing to them the message of hope.

Yvonne's family and those she ministered to, even those on their deathbeds, encouraged her to write her story so others could benefit. For a long time Yvonne resisted because she felt her calling was to minister to the sick and dying instead of writing, and because she was a privatge person.
